Planning Board Public Hearing

A Public Hearing is scheduled for May 10, 2022 @ 6 PM at the Benton Grange, 4 School St, Benton for the Three Corner Solar, LLC project. This is a proposed utility scale solar facility with a total rated capacity of approximately 110 megawatts alternating current (Mwac) in the towns of Benton, Clinton, and the unorganized territory of Unity Township. Project components within Benton include solar arrays, associated electrical infrasructure, perimeter fencing around the solar arrays, access roads, a collection substation, operations & maintenance building, and a 5.2 mile-long 115 kilovolt generator lead line.
