Any veteran who entered the service while living in Benton and served in a period of conflict is eligible for inclusion on the Memorial.   Anyone with names or information regarding veterans who qualify for inclusion on the Memorial should contact the Benton Park and Veterans Committee through the Town Office.

FIREWORKS. 
Benton has no ordinance. State laws apply.  In general, "consumers" may use fireworks between 9 AM and 10 PM with exceptions on/around July 4th and Dec 31st.   To view the law, click here.   Noise complaints should be directed to dispatch at 624-7076.

​​TRANSFER STATION: The Clinton/Benton Transfer Station is 6.3 miles north of the Benton Town Office on the Bangor Rd-Rte 11 through the Town of Clinton on the right hand side of the road. Hours are Wed-Thur-Fri-Sat 7 AM to 5 PM.
