Immediately following public hearing will be a Special Town Meeting to vote on the purchase.

Second Monday of each month:  Monthly Selectmen's Meeting, 6:00pm Benton Town Office. 

Second Tuesday of each month:  Monthly Planning Board Meeting, 7:00 PM, Benton Town Office.

​​TRANSFER STATION: The Clinton/Benton Transfer Station is 6.3 miles north of the Benton Town Office on the Bangor Rd-Rte 11 through the Town of Clinton on the right hand side of the road. Hours are Wed-Thur-Fri-Sat 7 AM to 5 PM. 

**PLEASE NOTE: All Benton Resident's will be required to present their Benton Vehicle Registrations at the Transfer Station. If you own land in Benton you may obtain a single day permit at the Benton Town Office, but will not be issued a permanent pass until you are a Benton Resident. ALL PERMANENT TRANSFER STATION PASSES are issued at the transfer station only.

Any veteran who entered the service while living in Benton and served in a period of conflict is eligible for inclusion on the Memorial.   Anyone with names or information regarding veterans who qualify for inclusion on the Memorial should contact the Benton Park and Veterans Committee through the Town Office.
